About Us
Beyond the Sip is a private wine pairing business in Temecula Valley, owned and operated by Betty Lunde which delivers an educational experience through wine, food, and fun.
When Betty saw her husband’s job eliminated due to global events of 2020, she said “When life throws you lemons, you make lemonade!” Her wheels started turning and after pondering her own culinary and vintner experience, she decided to launch her own business, a long time dream of hers – private wine and food pairing educational classes.
Betty, a sommelier, brings to the table well over ten years of successful experience in the hospitality business. Her knowledge includes a vast range of expertise from being a server, to a tour guide, to opening new wineries as well as first-hand experience in winery and operations management.
Together with her husband Bjorn, their passion is to cater to those who desire a more private and exclusive experience in a quiet and scenic environment with stunning views of the local vineyards and surrounding mountains of Temecula.

Experience a variety of different wines from Temecula wineries paired with beautiful charcuterie and brunch trays while exploring and enjoying the complex flavors and tastes of our local wines. You’ll get a basic introduction to the wines and their characteristics as well as gain knowledge on how to best enjoy your wine and become a better wine enthusiast.
